On August 29, 2016, during his business trip, the Minister of the Russian Federation Vladimir Puchkov inspected 13 fire departments in the village of Gurzuf, and presented certificates for fire rescue equipment and departmental awards to employees on the embankment of the city of Yalta.
So, within the framework of the technical re-equipment of the Federal Border Guard Service units in the Republic of Crimea, 2 modern fire fighting vehicles and a tanker truck – the ladder of KAMAZ brand, as well as modern hydraulic equipment and outfitting were received by the Gurzuf rescuers. In particular, two fire engines were delivered by USPTK – AC 1.5-40 / 2 (ISUZU NPR75L).
When conversing with the journalists, Vladimir Puchkov stressed that today the Crimean rescuers received the most modern equipment in order to maximize the safety of residents and guests of the Republic:
“Sergei Akenov and I discussed the possibility of creating a production of fire and rescue equipment, as well as gear and machinery on the territory of the Republic to properly supply the fire and rescue units of the Crimea,” stated EMERCOM head Vladimir Puchkov. “Today we presented the first batch of new generation equipment: fire trucks, ATVs, outfitting and appliances, which tomorrow will serve to protect the lives and health of the peninsula’s inhabitants. We are also ready to introduce innovative approaches to implement the Safe City Program, advance emergency calls systems and other modern technological developments that serve people.
